Founded in 1974, BOMA Austin, the Austin-based affiliate of the Building Owners and Managers Association International, serves the commercial real estate industry in the Austin area, from San Marcos to Georgetown. We�re composed of more than 320 members owning or managing more than 35 million square feet of office, industrial, retail and institutional properties. A Texas registered non-profit corporation, member-driven organization, we promote the highest ethical and professional standards in the commercial real estate industry through advocacy, networking and education. We're part of BOMA International, a dynamic international federation representing 91 local associations throughout the United States and ten affiliates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines(2) and South Africa. BOMA's 18,000-plus members own or manage more than nine billion square feet of commercial properties in the United States. BOMA Austin members are comprised of owners, managers, suppliers of goods and services, and the professionals insuring the health, safety, comfort and productivity of building occupants. Our members are uniquely proactive� contributing to forwarding the commercial real estate industry and the community-at-large.
